This Quercus rubra (Red Oak) is a large, mature tree that is in good health with fair structure and a long useful life expectancy. It is outstanding for its size at 25m height, 16m canopy spread and 1m circumference. The species is native to North America and is uncommon in cultivation in Victoria, especially when compared to the Pin Oak, a similar species which is widely planted.
